KB Trip 2014 - Part 2

Serunding - meat floss. Serunding can be made with beef, chicken, fish. However, meat floss made from pork is non-halal to the muslims and is good to eat with bread or porridge and the color is lighter.

Serunding is cooked with mixed of herbs, chilies and spices till it dries up, then shred (meat) or mash (fish) into floss / flakes. It can be eaten with rice or even with bread. Yum ! I've tried all when the seller tried to sell it to me. I still like the beef serunding (made from fresh beef and not frozen beef) even though it costs 5 ringgit extra. A kilo of beef serunding made from fresh beef is 60 ringgit whilst the frozen ones costs 55 ringgit.
