is just 1.5 hours drive from KL, hence a day trip would be more than sufficient. Best is to start off early and arrive Malacca just in time for breakfast. Then strolled around Malacca's tourists spots like St. Paul's Church, Fort A Famosa, Christ Church, St. Peter's Church, Jonker Street, etc. Jonker Street is where you can get those souvenirs and some nice restaurants / kopitiams and antiques.
